Hi, I'm Jenny.  Inspired by a desire for better beauty products, Jen & Berries was founded in 2019 when I saw a lack of exciting nail polish as well as natural skin care options that were Vegan and Cruelty-Free.  I set out to create a vibrant world with innovative nail care along with bold and daring nail polishes with the highest quality ingredients to bring a touch of personality to your fingertips because nail polish is more than just a cosmetic; it’s a form of self expression.

I've been obsessed, some would say, about nail polish for decades.  Even as a kid, I always wanted to be different.  Fun nails were an obvious choice.  I started making my own polish in 2016 for fun and have been playing ever since!  With each cosmetic grade pigment I added to my collection, I found that there was so much more I could do with polish than anything I'd ever found on drugstore shelves - the shimmers, the glitters, the holo - oh my!  It's been my joy to share these creations with you!

I am a lover of all creatures, fur or no fur, so all of my products are vegan and cruelty-free.  I don't, nor will I purchase from any suppliers who test on animals.  The base I use is 5-free which means it omits the 5 most toxic ingredients commonly found in nail polish: camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and formaldehyde resins.  I source the best ingredients for hand and skin care items, as well.  The oils sourced for my hand and nail care, like The Precious Cuticle & Nail oil are natural or organic when available, with the exception of some added fragrances.
